Communication FMI based Multidisciplinary Co‑simulation for Rapid Prototyping and Verification & Validation

Please check this relatively short video describing great, universal, powerful integration method for co-simulation between our and 3rd party tools enabling use cases: 

  • Rapid digital prototyping

  • Validation and Verification based on: 

    • system architecture requirements, use cases and test cases coming from SysML and 

    • 3D data (e.g. collisions) coming from 3D CAD model and executed in Delmia Robot Simulation or Robot Virtual Commissioning app

    • physics data coming from Delmia like robot actually movements, power consumption  

This integration is enabled by support for Functional Mockup Interface (FMI) standard using configurable communication Functional Mockup Unit (FMU) generated by our tool - Dymola. This enables fast and efficient co-simulation between one of hundreds of tools / solutions supporting by FMI interface.
